In This Land: The Purple Book, Volume Four

Spoiler alert: In This Land is an ongoing series. The summary teaser for this and other volumes may contain spoilers.

Orinakin and Bade are finally engaged! But that means they have to accomplish a mountain of work to pull off a massive wedding with a global guest list in time for Orinakin's next diplomatic trip. Bade has to be tutored by an entire team of teachers to be ready to travel with Orinakin and represent both Orina Anoris and Nosupolis. It's overwhelming, but everything seems to be going along smoothly until Bade's parents arrive.

King Mindo and Queen Wirra aren't convinced that the pharaoh is really a deity, they aren't sure of Orinakin's intentions, and they're not too happy to hear that their country's prince, their own son, has willingly consented to allowing Orinakin unlimited access to Bade's thoughts. Anyone would be overjoyed to learn of their child's engagement to the Anorian royal diplomat, but Mindo is a stubborn man, and he isn't easily persuaded. Neither Bade nor Orinakin would dream of getting married without Mindo's approval, so they have to find a way to make Mindo say "yes" before they can say "I do."

Meanwhile, the time has come for Talin and Anosanim's ascension. Will fashionable, artistic Anosanim really transform into a master architect? Can Talin overcome his misgivings about his true purpose in life and accept the blessings of the gods to become the royal artist? All the while, Talin and Hitari's tentative relationship gradually grows stronger, but will Hitari support him through the most important moment of Talin's life, or will he create more problems?

Revisit Bade, Orinakin, and the rest of Orinakin's brothers, the eccentric, sexy, multi-colored princes of Orina Anoris, for the fourth volume of The Purple Book of the series "In This Land."

In This Land: The Purple Book, Volume Four consists of chapters 46-63 of "In This Land."  Included is a bonus short story, "Play Along," along with access to exclusive on-line content (the story of Anosanim's first kiss).
