They're cutest when they're asleep. LOL Especially newborns, they look like such little angels. I miss the itty bitty baby stage. Their needs are so simple, so predictable. And they don't move. My son, who's my second child, is nine months old already and crawling everywhere. I think when he crosses the line from baby to toddler, my husband and I are going to try for another one. I see pics like this and I go all mushy and get baby fever again and start daydreaming of being pregnant.  |

Yeah, I don't remember the last time I got 8 hours, either. Sometime during my last pregnancy, but before my belly started getting in the way. It's just how it goes, I think.  But they're so freaking cute, aren't they? The best is when my three and a half year old daughter runs up to me, wraps herself around my legs, and says "I love you, Mommy." Or when my son curls up on my chest and just cuddles in. |

So, I haven't been active here because I have given birth already. My daughter Isabella was born via emergency caesarian section. The baby and I are both doing great, I'm still tired but very happy. E-chocolates for everyone!  Congrats !!!! Adorable !! |

It's Tuesday. But Wednesday is a good day for me because it's the last day of my husband's work week. Thursday always goes fast because he's home and I get to get out of the house by myself for a few hours in the evening for knitting group. Friday also goes fast because he's home for most of it then usually goes to a friend's house in the evening and doing bedtime for both the kids by myself makes the time fly. So really, just because it's Tuesday doesn't mean the next update is all that far away. Courtney <--- almost have myself convinced all that makes the waiting easier |

I have my fingers crossed that once the chapter is posted he will be able to spend some time de-bugging the system. I am heading to bed hoping that the chapter is up in the morning. |

The psammers are driving me crazy as well... so much so that I thought about going on strike. No more banners, no more ITL subscription - nothing until the spammers are off the board.
But that does seem a little drastic.
If Matthew were to appoint more people as moderators, we'd be able to handle it better.

Since I was the person who asked Liz and Matthew for the registration to be opened so the readers who were trying to register could do that, I feel very responsible for the spammers. I have been sending Matthew updates about what is happening here since the spammers have invaded. I have researched and sent Matthew the links to the programs that can be used to prevent spammers from joining. I have offered to do anything at all possible to assist getting rid of the bots and spammers from monitering any new members that I come across, to sending messages with names via PM to him so he can easily delete their accounts. I have offered to learn how to admin this board, clean it out, set up the preventer programs and then leave it to a mod of his choice. I visit LJ daily to see if their have been any further responses since the last one 3 weeks ago. There have been 2 mentions to the problems in the weekly LJ message. So far I have no direct responses, since the one I mentioned in the updates. BUT I live in HOPE. Matthew posted this yesterday in the LJ ITL posting message (I have some messages in my in-box that I need to get back to some people about. Just wanted to let you know that I'll get back to you soon, it's just 2:38 in the morning here and I need to step out for a minute to, you know, nap and stuff.) I hope that he meant Liz & me. I would hate to have to live with the knowledge that I killed this board. |

I hate to say it because I love Mountie dearly and making registration easier for legitimate posters was a great idea, but maybe going back to the previous registration process, even temporarily, may be a good short-term solution. I'm sure it's hard to keep up with spambots. Giving a few more people the ability to delete their posts would help a lot, too. |
