Lizzardbator - Sure! Tell me what sizes you need and I'll get right on it!
Matthew - I'm glad you like the banners!! I'll make more as soon as I can. I like PSP! It's almost as good as Photoshop!

Here's a wallpaper I made. This took forever to finish. I wasn't sure if I should keep the hair on the guy's armpit or not... I decided to take it out (because belas are supposed to be quasi-hairless, no?). If anyone wants the version with the hair (this is sooo not awkward), just say the word. The stubble couldn't be helped (I think it's hot anyways). I think the "where dreams come true" is a little bit cheesy inappropriate though but I couldn't come up with anything else. Any suggestions? Maybe I should just do away with the second text? ps: The name of the model on the right is Sean O'Pry. Edit: Removed picture. Posted a new version below.

My pleasure! Did you get the newest version for the gallery? ---- So, here's the new version. I changed the second text to something more appropriate. Do you guys think that it looks weird with the two guys so close to each other (like some weird Siamese twins)? Preview: Full version (1280*1024) here: http://i40.tinypic.com/igeszs.png

Thank you! I'm not 100% happy with this one so, Matthew, if you'd like something changed/different, feel free to let me know. I definitely like that you're incorporating Xio Voe-related elements: the underwear, chess, etc. And we all like seeing some nice manflesh. My first recommendation is that if you're not super gung-ho about it, talk to Diamond. Tell her what you like or what you don't like or what you're going for. She loves graphics and she's always happy to tell people everything she's learned. I'm trying to phrase this delicately because you're a lovely person, but I would prefer "Xio Voe" to "Voe." It's a common point; I've seen several readers call him Voe. But he's so fiercely committed to being "Xio Voe" that I can't call him anything else. Again, thank you! I put your Selorin one in the art gallery yesterday! -Matthew

Hey Matthew, don't worry about delicate phrasing. As long as you're not mean about it, I can take just about anything. And "I prefer (fill in the blank)" is perfect. You're welcome for the artwork. I haven't been inspired to do art for a long time but when you mentioned you were putting up a gallery I wanted to make something to thank you for all of your incredible work. Also, thank you for adding me to your lovely gallery. And here's the updated version: Hope this one's better! LA

Good job! I see why you posted two. There are things I like about both of them. I like the extra scratches and noise in the first one. And I like the box around the title on the second one. It connects the men on either side of the picture together a little more than just the title. Plus, it adds more weight to the bottom which is always good. Good job with the dark edges. I'm mesmerized by the shiny pecs at the top. Me likey. - Diamond

In light of Xio Voe's lovely attitude in the most recent update, here he is being all superior and Jacacean. the picture quality is not what I'd hope it to be, so to see a good version, go here: (BETTER PICTURE/QUALITY) *again* http://img100.imageshack.us/img100/1508/xiovoe3.jpg

Neat to call them 'wallpaper' but how about a ceiling mural?
You're right, Falconer did a great job. They're called wallpaper because they are designed to be desktop wallpaper for your computer, not actually on walls in Orina Anoris. They can't really be ceiling murals because computers don't have ceilings. But it's nice to think of them as something that might be painted on the ceiling of a belam. -Diamond

Saskie, this is amazing! I love the hair covering part of the face. Somehow this is how I see Talin, trying to hide his feelings. And yet the hair covering the eyes makes the eyes more intense. This is great!

RE: #42 below: DUKOT BELAM Poster. And Falconer... WHEW! just WHEW... I hadn't seen that before, and I was expecting just to see icon/banner images here. ...I do Like the first one, but the second better, because we don't expect walls to show aging and cracks in OA.. and the 'sign' of ITL is better too. Well done! Neat to call them 'wallpaper' but how about a ceiling mural? They give me weak knees! And I'm hooked on the Left one, cuz I love backs and backsides!

Ok so we have 3 Desin banners, one Xio Voe... Orinakin and Bade, Selorin and Vade...
Well, now we have Remin and Orinakin banners... two siblings, two banners .
What can I say, I'm bored. And when I'm bored, I tend to do silly things with PSP. And Liz isn't even here to beta for me. Might have put too much glitter on the Remin banner, but it would have been too plain otherwise.

lol, Sue, I made the banner specifically for you!
I hadn't even done the cloudyness on purpose lol. I just fooled around until I was satisfied with what I had in front of me. I'm glad you like it!
And for the blue in the Selorin/Vade banner.... I think that's the color of Selorin's eyes.

What say you? =) To go with this whacky twist we just got with Xio Voe thinking that he can leave Anosukinom. Not gonna happen. We know Nosupolis is blue and Orina Anoris is every color in the world... what about Jacacea? *wonders* Vani

For the Oranomi banner, I made it a smoky rainbow color because that's the god of death, transition and rebirth. Death is really sad, hence the smokyness of it, transition can be difficult, and when something/one is reborn, it's always all new, so the colors haven't had time to brighten yet. I know it makes no sense :p

Oh Vani the one with the river is breath taking. I love it. Gypsy I can't wait to see the completed set. I paticualrily like the banners, with the added graphics. Ladies just so you know I come to this topic often and admire the beautiful creations you have done for Orina Anoris, the Seven Siblings, their partners and friends. Thank you for providing inspiration, creativity and beauty to match this wonderful story. Vani I like the rainbow one too. I thought the blending of color was subtle enough to enhance the picture, though this one is lovely as well. Being smaller the impact hits you all at once. I also think the tone of the smaller picture with the blue sky in the corner would blend nicely with the rainbow lettering.

When I think of Jacacea I always think of fountains. Other than Seijaces being described with all the fountains, canals and modern buildings I don't think much has been described in great detail about the country, and since it is so large almost anything will fit, but not scream "This is Jacacea". That has to make it really difficult for you to find a picture.

Vani - that is JUST how I picture Seijaces looking. But then, after all these years, I think you and I live in each other's brains anyway. And those eye banners turned out a lot better than I thought. The way you managed to kind of outline the lashes looks wonderful.

Liz hasn't seen these yet, but she approved of the models I picked for the pictures, so I'm just going ahead. I only have three so far, one for each of the Siblings' belams, not including the male Pharaonic belam, which I shall depict later.
Here you go!!
I thought he was too cute not to have as a Lesis bela.

This one I picked because.. just because I had to...

And this last one just had to be Sulatim... there was no other way to do it.

Oh, just in case you were wondering, these are all models I picked from a US male models website. I believe it's malemodel.us

Thanks, Vani! I have it up as my signature graphic on JR Ward's message board, where manlove junkies abound ('cause really, who can see the sparks between Butch and Vishous and not be intrigued?) and where I've been pimping ITL like crazy. Hopefully my gorgeous new siggy will ensnare a few newbies.

I had to... you all will forgive me, but I absolutely had to make this, now that I'm rereading this and Orinakin seems so tortured, poor soul. *hugs him*
I really like this banner. It looks even better when posted on the board's bg, because it almost seems to blend... =)
Gacking this one for usage. I need a new sig.

Nooooo... Vani I love your banners They are so gorgeous and colorful and pretty. They are the closes I will ever come to being surrounded in a room by the Seven Siblings, Rini, Ankira, Bade, Vade, Xio Voe and all the boyfriends, spouses and bela's. Orikin and Kudorin may have found their HEA's BUT we still have 6 more Spouses to go. It's going to be colorful

When I showed Liz this guy and told him he'd make a good Hitari, her answer was 'Ooohhh yes!'. Therefore... here you are.
I love the look in his eyes - that's almost exactly how I imagined Hitari to look like.
Oh my, he's GORGEOUS. Do you know his name?

Thank you! The arrows are correspond to their numbers in that font.. Only I cheated a little and used the number in the dynasty rather than birth order because the single digit numbers all looked the same....
Vani, I would like to request that particular version of Hitari; alive, in my stocking this year... If he won't fit in the stocking I have a really great bed sheet that would be just perfect.

I am just hitting the highlights Vani I will probably go back over them again and again as we hit the gold, blue, green, orange, red and silver books. Right now it is Xoe Voe and Kudorins story that is happening so I will probably be attracted to their banners and icons more frequently. Those and Onrinakin and Bade's but you know me and rainbows I figured it was Nick picture and to have that wonderful pic after following the band for 14 yrs must have been a thrill.

I feel bad for Liz.
She just had to sit through me making 25 (yes, 25) banners. I showed her all but the last one because she left. Thanks for all the comments, Liz!!!
I made them in sets of 3 (ie - 3 per brother, except for Kudorin, he got 4).
Let me upload them all to Photobucket, after which I shall painstakingly upload them here, brother by brother.

They are all wonderful Vani I like the fourth one particualrily as the scales remind me of the ones on the butterfly that Kudorin released when he began to feel Xoe Voe's love for him. The one that will exist as long as that love is real. I'm feeling a bit Talinish today.

Vani there is another brush site that makes me so happy I'll have to look up the link to it.... I saved it to the other computer and it's having issues. BTW That last Anosanim banner is my favorite of them all... it's beautiful and captured the essence of the feeling I get from the character. You are amazing!

Anosanim's is very pretty, especially with the corners reminding me of his buildings with the artestry within reminding me of the flourishes and embelishments that he will bring to his Architecture. Before I would have argued the font for Xoe Voe should always have edges but now that he is in love with Kudorin and developing friendships and familial love with his siblings I can accept his font to have softer edges. I like the structure if Selorins background representing the history of the judicial system with the flourishes that knowledge brings to his experience. I think it is an excellent blend of Selorin duality. WTG Vani!

I'm glad you all like the banners.
I'm going to need to find new inspirations for them, being as I think that I've used up most of whatever I had in mind for all of these.
And mind you, there won't be any banners during Christmas and New Year's weeks, because I won't be home. But I think you have enough to last you until 2010, lol.
I should be working, not posting!

I must admitt to having my nose burried in the story as I came down the stretch to chapter 170. You know me and color, sp I did find the simple Exrta banners a bit plainer. I can so see the "Rini" one on the backs of some athletes while they were out on the town. I like the new brushes for the Kudorin / Xoe Voe pair. I really like the second set of the new ones and the matching Icon that goes with the second quote. I agree with your sentiment, T'rin and his Le'eton should always be together and I think T'rin agrees. I wonder what the Le'eton tatoo looks like?

I love the colors of the last sets of rainbow banners and icons Vani. They all go so well together. The ITL rainbow collecton is being featured today to highlight the upcoming nuptuals of two main characters. The collection of separates, different tops and bottoms that are coordinated appear in a rainbow motif. Today Mountie is wearing the most recent Xoe Voe top and the Love skirt while Vani has the matching Anosukamin top and Jarjoule pants from the same collection. This ITL collection can be found at your closest ITL store till the designer SilverMoon finds another couple to focus on. Spys in the industry tell us that shades of silver, black, white and grey may be the colors for spring. Last years collection of shades of purple with blue accents were very popular. Smaller collections featuring gold, green, orange and red have also been very popular for this Anorian designer. Sty tuned to Fahion News for more breaking stories in the fashion world. Whee! We have new banners and icons!! Took me a while to make these... especially the last ones...
As Mountie predicted, silver, black and white dominate for now. Oh, I sometimes had to change the quotes (ie - put a period instead of a comma) to make it work, cause I can't always put an entire 4-line sentence in a small banner .

Now, these took me a long time to do... I obviously couldn't find a pink tree on a hill anywhere (can you believe it???), so I had to transpose a few things and it took some time:

Yes, they're twins. You can pick whichever one you want. I have the tree icon as well.

The Tree of Promise set is absolutely stunning Vani. Very gorgeous and completely Kuladin; delicate and strong, colorful and amazingly beautiful. I think you captured it perfectly. The matching silver T'rin and Kuladin icons in the icon topic are also perfect. I am glad you liked the fashion report. I have been hearing Ray Steven's "The Streak" on Sirrus's 80's channel about 3x's a day for the last week and had "The Action News Reporter" running through my head... Don't Look Ethel

it is absolutely I agree Liz. I'd be sporting it now if I wasn't so fond of the one I am wearing. I like the ones with the light colors in the center. it punches the names out to the forefront. The lettering for the Talin one is competely fun. I can hardly wait for when Talin matches the mood on the banner.

Damn Not again! *runs off to dose herself in a cold shower* I spent all day yesterday (figuratively) in the damn thing cause of that scene and now I need another! And I just had another mini-gasm when I read it. This is just not fair reading that Vani.

I haven't done an Orinakin banner in a while, so here are two!!!

For the second one, I wrote, in Japanese: Third Sibling, Child of the Gods, Orina Anoris. Then again, I could have written 'The cat sat on the mat' and I wouldn't be able to tell, lmao. It's a nod to his numerous travels.

They are absolutely gorgeous Vani! I ove them all but I howled with the mushrooms. Orinakin will strike you down for that one. I love what hapens in chapter 14 too when Orinakin stands out side his door and Bade thinks: And what was wrong with mushrooms?
“They feel disgusting in my mouth when I bite down on them,” a weary voice said from the other side of the door.

This quote got to me. Respect for Remin, yes, always, but complete avoidance? I felt there was something there, even though it obviously didn't happen at all. Still, I wanted to do something with it.

It's a little plain, which is a departure from most of my banners, but I think some of us like plain (instead of peanut ).

Well, now it's all gone into my tummy so it doesn't matter.
Butterflies, chocolate cake... anything that's good for imagery will do. If Remin thinks about Tano's gorgeous black eyes... I'll fid dark eyes and make the picture black and white or golden so that you can think that they're black in Remin-shade... or something like that.
I think I need a PSP tutorial, because I can't seem to turn brown hair or eyes black. Yes there is the 'darken' feature, but that's for the whole picture, and the 'burn' button only works one click at a time, so I can't drag it over the surface I need and it takes a long time and doesn't come out right.
DIAMOND, WHERE ARE YOU? *sob*

I missed Orinakin and Bade so much I started reading ITL all over again. Finished The Purple Book a while back. I am now up to "The Hitari Incident" for the new Orinakin set Vani. I will change when Orinakin and Bade make it back home. And it looks like it may be soon, after the conversation Selorin and Kudorin had in the latest chapter; 238.
